Dates for this term

  • Week beginning 9th May SATs for Year 6.
  • Monday 9th may PTA meeting in school at 7pm, all welcome. The agenda includes the Bog Eyed Jog and the summer BBQ.
  • Thursday 19th May our annual Bog Eyed Jog, (more details next week).
  • Monday 23rd May Gareth Durham (photographer) in school, see details below.
  • Friday 27th May finish for half term at 3.15pm, return Monday 13th June at 9am.

End of term

School breaks up for the Easter holidays on Tuesday next week at 2pm. The school bus will run as normal. We reopen on Wednesday 27th April at 9am.

We are closed for the Royal Wedding on Friday 29th April and for the Bank Holiday on Monday 2nd May.

Easter Service reminder.

An invitation to parents and friends, to join us at our Easter Service at 2pm on Monday 11th April.

Newsletter 25 - 1st April 2011

STOP PRESS. The PTA Cinema evening on Friday 1st April is cancelled.

After school activities (gymnastics, football and aikido) have finished until after the Easter holidays.

Easter activities

Next Friday (8th April) we are having our annual ‘decorate an egg or Easter bonnet competition’. The children can bring their entries into school on Thursday and they will be judged and prizes given in each age group.

Please make sure all entries are named and that the decorated eggs are hard boiled!!

Easter Worship

On Monday 11th April at 2pm in the school hall we are having an Easter Worship Service led by the children. All are welcome to join us.

Lea Endowed Church of England (Aided) School has a Christian foundation.  The school was established approximately two hundred years ago as the result of an endowment bequeathed in the will of Samuel Neeld, a local Quaker.
