Many thanks to all our pupils and families who joined us at Preston Minster last Sunday. It was a very special service and we were very proud of our children for their singing, drama, readings and excellent behaviour! We would very much like to participate in another service next term, perhaps as a celebration towards the end of the school year? We will let you know!!
Nothing to do on Sunday afternoon ?Why not go along to our FAMILY FILM AFTERNOON to see ‘PLANET 51’
– THIS SUNDAY AT 1.30PM – at Lea Club,
– Full sized screen, refreshments available. Open to all including family and friends. Pay on the door on the day.
Health and Safety issues......
If your child wears earrings for school (1 pair of studs please) parents must either remove the earrings on P.E. days and leave them at home or provide plasters for your child to cover the earrings before the lesson. Children who do not follow these rules will not be able to participate in the P.E. lesson.
Also pupils with long hair (shoulder length) must have it tied back at all times whilst at school.
KS2 Numeracy evening for Parents.
On Monday 8th February Mrs Hurley and Mrs Williams are holding an information evening for parents of pupils in KS2. A letter was sent home with the children earlier this week, please contact school if you did not receive one.
REMINDER Mr Spellbinder is coming...
Mr Spellbinder is coming to school on Thursday 11th February, we have subsidised the cost by using some of the profit from our Christmas Enterprise Shops and we ask for a contribution from each child of £3.00 (and £2.50 for siblings). Please complete the slip at the bottom of this letter and return to school with the money as soon as possible.
Mr and Mrs Spellbinder work with Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the morning and Reception, Year 1 and 2 children in the afternoon.
