Our collection of pennies (£161.00) and the fantastic response to the non uniform day last Friday (£163.30) raised a grand total of £324.30 for the Haiti Appeal. Thank you to everyone.

KS2 Parents, numeracy meeting.

This meeting is on Monday evening at 6pm (it will last about 1 hour) for parents of children in Years 3, 4, 5, and 6.

The staff in KS2 will be explaining how we teach maths especially written calculations to our children. They will try to answer any questions you may have. The meeting is totally non-threatening, please come along and don’t be scared!

Mr Spellbinder

Mr Spellbinder is coming for the day on Thursday next week. Please can parents send in any outstanding money? The cost of the visit is being subsidised by the profits made at our Christmas Shop in December but we are asking for a contribution of £3.00 per child, £2.50 for siblings. Please complete and return the slip with money. Thank you.

After school activities.

  • There will be no guitar lessons next Tuesday 9th February. Lessons with Mr Whittle will recommence on Tuesday 23rd February after half term.
  • A separate letter is being sent to those children who ‘signed up and paid’ for half a term Gymnastics or Aikido. Attached is a flyer from Superstars. If your child wishes to continue please complete the slip/flyer and return to school with the next half term payment. Any other children wanting to start after school activities after half term please enquire at the school office or see me.

Half Term

School closes next Friday 12th February at 3.15pm and reopens on Monday 22nd February at 9am.

Borwick Hall payment by instalments.

Parents who wish to make payments towards the cost of the Y5/6 residential to Borwick Hall please send money and payment card to Mrs Nicol in the school office. We do ask that full payment is made by the end of the Summer Term in July. We have to finalise numbers with Borwick Hall before we break up for the summer holidays.
