KS2 activity trail

The activity trail is now complete, but as yet following the installation the ground is too muddy for the children to use. We are currently exploring ways of financing some additional surfacing.

Car parking

The new sign and yellow lines (which will soon appear at both sides of school on Lea Road and Sidgreaves Lane) have been put there by Lancashire County Council they are currently remarking roads outside all schools. We have not requested the ‘no parking zone’, but it will make the road outside school safer for our children.

Children’s clothes sale,

This auction style sale will be held in school on Tuesday 23rd March with doors opening at 6.30pm. This is the ideal opportunity to purchase your child’s summer clothes for a fraction of their cost – no item exceeding £8 and all well-known makes such as Next, M&S, Disney and Mothercare. Entrance is free, tea/coffee will be available.

Playtime shoes,

At this time of year our playground can be very wet and muddy. It is quite acceptable for you to send in a change of shoes/trainers for playing out at lunchtime.

P.E. kits

It is important that children have their P.E. kit in school at all times and that for health and safety reasons earrings are removed on P.E. day, or plasters are brought from home to cover the earrings.

FISH AND CHIP FRIDAY

Mrs Pantlin is having another fish and chip Friday on 12th March. Please complete the slip below if your child would like to have fish and chips, dessert and drink. Please do not reply if your child already has school lunch as he/she will be included in the numbers.
